Restore Tone & Shape

Permanent lips can improve pale lip tone, soften uneven edges, and restore a healthier, fresher-looking appearance to the lips.

Natural or More Refined

Some clients want a subtle “better version” of their natural lips. Others want more visible definition and a refined beauty finish. Both approaches can be tailored carefully.

Less Dependence on Lipstick

Ideal for clients who want to look fresh without reapplying lip color throughout the day — whether at work, training, traveling, or simply living a busy life.

What Are Permanent Lips?

Permanent lips, often called lip blush or permanent lip color, are a form of PMU designed to enhance the lips with carefully placed pigment. The goal is not a flat or harsh tattoo effect, but a softer, more elegant result that improves the overall look of the lips once healed.

Depending on your preferences, the result can be kept very soft and understated or brought slightly more toward a polished, makeup-inspired finish. The right approach depends on your natural lip tone, facial features, and personal style.

Why Clients Choose Permanent Lips

For Beauty & Freshness

Permanent lips can bring back shape, softness, and balance to lips that feel pale, uneven, or less defined over time. For many clients, the result is a fresher face even without makeup.

For Daily Ease

If you do not want to rely on lipstick every day, permanent lips can make your overall look feel more complete from morning onward — convenient for workdays, active routines, and travel.

Who This Service Is For

Anna’s Approach

Good lip PMU is about control and judgment. The work must respect the natural shape of the lips, skin tone, healing behavior, and the kind of result the client actually wants to live with every day.

Anna’s background in a high-standard PMU environment means the focus is not just on applying pigment, but on achieving a result that feels balanced, flattering, and aesthetically intentional once healed.

The Appointment Process

1. Consultation & Design Direction

We begin by discussing the desired look — from very natural tone restoration to a more defined and aesthetic finish.

2. Shape & Pigment Choice

Lip tone and shape are assessed carefully so the chosen direction suits your face and heals in a flattering way.

3. Procedure

A numbing product is used to improve comfort. Sensitivity varies, but most clients find the session manageable.

4. Healing & Touch-Up Session

Lip PMU is a two-step process. The first session creates the base, and a later touch-up session refines retention, tone, and overall finish.

Healing & Longevity

Immediately after treatment, the lips usually appear stronger in color than the final healed result. Some swelling is also normal in the early stage. As healing progresses, the color softens.

Final healed results develop over several weeks. Longevity depends on factors such as skin, lifestyle, and aftercare, but PMU lips are designed to provide a long-lasting improvement rather than a temporary daily cosmetic effect.

You can read more on our Aftercare Instructions page, or see the full week-by-week breakdown in our Lip Blush Healing guide .

Pricing

Permanent lips are currently priced at kr. 4 000,- for the initial session. A touch-up session is needed for the best final result. Full details are available on our price list .

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my lips look too bright or artificial?

Not when the work is planned properly. Lip PMU can be extremely soft and natural, but it can also be designed to look more visibly polished if that is what you want. The key is choosing the right level for your face and taste.

Is this the same as wearing lipstick all the time?

No. Healed permanent lips are usually softer and more integrated into your natural features. The goal is long-lasting enhancement, not a flat cosmetic layer.

How long does the appointment take?

Usually around 1 to 1.5 hours, including consultation, preparation, numbing, and the procedure itself.

Can I send photos before booking?

Yes. If you want an initial opinion before booking, a digital consultation is a very practical way to start.
